Winters out, Summers in, let the fun begin!
So summers hitting the door and we are all set to get off those sweaters, warm covered winter clothes and put on our favourite shorts and minis and hit the beach. As on one side summer gets us with lots of sun and shine while on the darker side we all have to go throw the hair issues, dull skin, tanning, sweating & makeup (ugh!), and what not.
Well, dont you worry here are 5 simple tips for you to last this summer. So Ready.Set. Summer!
1. Stay Hydrated:
We all have been advised to have atleast 2-3 liters of water a day by our doctors or elders. Well, thats true drinking 2-3 liters of water daily keeps you hydrated. Stay hydrated to keep your skin refreshing and get that natural glow. It keeps your body energetic and fresh.
If there is trouble remembering to drink water, schedule your drink. Drink after you wake up, before you go to bed, before & after breakfast, lunch, dinner, or every 1-2 hours.
If drinking water is boring add some fresh slices of limes, lemons, cucumber, mint, fruits to add on some more freshness. When out take a water bottle along and put markings on it according to the amount your suppose to drink as scheduled.
2. Keep Your Hair Safe: Oiling
Yes Oiling! Especially long hair. To get your hair safe from getting damaged due to the UV rays, chlorine and salty water,Oil them. Oil acts as a leave-in conditioner that will protect you hair and protect your hair colour as well. Isn’t it a life saver? You can even go for different diffuser blender recipes and make the best use of it.
3. EXFOLIATE :
The harmful UV rays affect your skin and make a layer of dead skin cells, making it look dull and wrinkled. Exfoliate once in a week or twice during warm days or days when your skin is subjected to alot of sunlight due to outings. Exfoliating will remove the dead skin cells and keep your looking skin fresh and radiant. There are many products available in the markets for exfoliating your skin such as face wash, creams, face packs and many more.
4. Beauty And The Beach
Who doesn’t love flaunting those legs, shoulders and collarbones on the sizzling sunny days. Well here’s as tip, dont go for buying new bronzers, get your hands on you old shimmer eyeshadows and they’ll do the job for you, just blend them with your daily lotion and your good to go.
Do not go for heavy makeup looks keep it simple And yes of course, summers = waterproof makeup. Duh! You wouldn’t want your makeup to fall off with that sweat.
5. EXPERIMENT :
Keeps your hair tied up in a messy bun, a pony tail or any updo hairstyles, that wont let your hair fall on your neck getting you irritated with the sweat and keeping you cool. Add on some scarfs, headbands, clips and different hair accessories to give them a cheeky and classy touch.
And well if your ready to experiment something new this summer, chop your hair off to some new trendy short hair styles and flaunt this summer.
